As the saying goes rain on your wedding day is "good luck" and since it's out of your hands the best thing to do is smile and roll with it. You can always add additional tents and walkway marquees, but try to make it fun with a good attitude. Some of the things we've seen are ushers, ushering in the guests with large umbrellas or handing out umbrellas. Take photos with the bridal party all holding umbrellas in the rain or a photo with just the lovely couple cuddling under one.

TENT STYLES
Pole tentsThe traditional tent style held up by center poles, side poles and stakes. Usually set up in grass areas.

frame tentsSelf supported by a frame without center poles, it can be set up on hard surfaces basically anywhere.

structure tentsMore like a temporary building these structures are best used as a long term semi-permanent tent.

The basic difference is that frame tents have no center poles impeding the floor space of the tent and the pole tent will have a center pole sitting on the ground in the tent. In addition, pole tents need stakes all the way around the perimeter to hold up the tent and a frame tent is held up by the frame itself with only using stakes to secure the tent from inclement weather.
