After all your dog is family, so why wouldn't you invite them to the wedding? Well for one reason if your event is help indoors then most facilities do not allow pets inside, which is just another reason to have your wedding outside. Over the years we've seen dogs attending outdoor tented weddings more time than we can count on one paw. As long as your dog is well behaved, since you don't want them eating the cake before it's cut or barking so much that they take all the attention away from the bride, then why not? Of course we think the dog should be dressed for the occasion after all it's a wedding, here is a photo of a dog that attended an outdoor tented wedding at Katherine Legge's "The Lodge" and he literally out dressed most of the men at the event.

We literally get just as excited about small tent events as we do for large tented weddings. We understand each and every party is a celebration of friends and family and there will be memories made that will be locked in minds and captured in photos taken on that special day. Here is a perfect example of a 90th birthday party held under two 15 x 15 frame tents to block the sun and create an outdoor dining room room housing a long single banquet table. Though this party was on the small side of tenting it had just as much love and importance as any other tented event. The family decorated with the colors of the Italian flag, simple floral pieces and red checkered table cloths that reminded them of years past.

Weddings sure have changed over the years...now here's a groom that's styling and smiling and wearing what he wants to! Heck it was an outdoor tented wedding on a warm summer day so why not wear shorts? The point is enjoy your day and don't worry what other people think. If you want to wear shorts as the groom...wear shorts, if you want to wear a tuxedo  then have-at-it and if your feeling a tuxedo T-shirt well just make sure your bride is OK with it first. I know a bride that's getting married this summer as she's set on a black wedding dress (why not?)...remember it's your day, do it your way! You may just regret it otherwise.

Hinsdale, Illinois Tent Rentals - Tent Spot Light
Today we are highlighting a party that was hosted at an incredible historical home in downtown Hinsdale, IL for a Halloween/Dueling Pianos party. Chicago Tent, LLC. Rentals and Sales was asked to tent the area just outside the back door to house two pianos, high top tables, heaters, cathedral side walls, string lights and of course a dance floor! The guest were able to travel from the main home into the 30 x 30 party tent through an all enclosed marquee tent. The party was catered by Taste of Home of Hinsdale and was the talk of the town as the  guests sang their hearts away into the night all cozy on a chilly fall night.
